  • This is the only fine-dining/Michelin-starred restaurant I’ve been to that actually left me extremely full. We came to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday lunch and received genuinely excellent hospitality throughout the meal. The staff went out of their way to make sure she was well taken care of, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal. The food is Thai fusion, and you can clearly taste influences from different regions of Thailand. One standout for me was the white rice- arguably the best I’ve ever had. It becomes softer and more delicate with each bite. The traditional sweet-and-sour crispy noodle with river prawn and accompanying condiments was also quite unique and well executed. We pre-booked the Hungry Hub sharing set for two at 3,790 THB, which felt like strong value for both the quantity and quality of food. They also offer a set lunch at 950 THB, which is another approachable way to experience the restaurant. Before visiting, I had read negative reviews criticizing the food for not being “Michelin star-level.” After eating here myself, I think the issue comes down to expectations. At this price point when comparable Michelin meals often run 6,000+ THB per person, there simply isn’t a Michelin-star experience that matches those standards. If you adjust expectations accordingly, you’ll find yourself having a very enjoyable and satisfying meal, particularly for the value. Overall, the combination of thoughtful service, generous portions, and well-executed Thai flavors makes this a place I’d happily return to. Special thanks to our server, Jittawan, for making the lunch one that was memorable.

  • Everything here was good. I tried another michelin star restaurant named nahm and it was definitely not as good as here. The dish I loved the most was actually the green curry, which was super flavorful and had a stronger herbal profile compared to traditional curries with a lot of coconut cream. I also appreciated the addition of a ton of vegetables in the dish. I’m not sure what it was named but it gave a lot of texture. The prawns with the pad thai were cooked perfectly and were so tender. Same with the chicken curry massaman, which had a more Indian flavor curry profile but was still delightful. The chicken was extremely tender and the thick creamy sauce was lovely with rice. Every single dish here was excellent and words don’t do this place enough justice. Atmosphere is great and the service is top notch. Essentially white glove service; they do everything from filling your water to splitting portions for the dishes you have on the table. One of the rare places that I think actually deserves the Michelin star. The only slight con that I thought was that the drinks could’ve been slightly better, but they were still decent (pineapple freeze and thai tea). I will be back.

  • Quite a contrast from the street vendors I had gotten to fond of and used to over the few weeks travelling here but decided to treat myself and what a good decision it was. The service was polished and personable, I really appreciate the finer details in these grand establishments. For example, being the bigman and taking on the chillis and the host fetching me a drink to counteract, not at my request but grateful appreciated haha. The food, I opted for the royal set dinner, which I believe is the most traditional set of dishes they offer. A more refined and classic palette which I really enjoyed, equally the explanation of what I was eating is also a merit of great service. The meal itself would've cost a lot more back in Europe and thus, worth every penny here in Bangkok if you want to treat yourself without going crazy expensive, I really recommend Saneh Jaan. A whole package with the staff the stars of the show. Thanks again.

  • Rating almost for 4 starts, there is luck of service and nothing special with atmosphere. Some of the plates were good and some so so. I would expect something more for a Michelin star restaurant, either in food or service or atmosphere or all of them

  • Went here for the lunch set for around 1000 baht. Verdict: very well worth it. The two appetizers were some beef sate and spicy salad. All very tasteful and balanced without being too salty. Main course you can choose out of 4 options. That's great! We had the padthai and noodle soup. The latter was very tangy and not eaten before. Pad thai was okay. I think that one was a bit on the sweeter end. Soup was sweet salty. Fresh. Desert was the black rice ice. Yummy. Recommended!

  • As a visitor I loved it. It was our anniversary and we brought some family to celebrate with us. My family are locals to Bangkok and they were not impressed by the food relative to the price. However I thought it was pretty good. I was a little bummed that I saw other tables get cakes and things for their celebration but we did not even though we mentioned it in the reservation. While waiting for a grab my aunt insisted on dropping more hints to the front of house lady, and she got it and right before we left she gave us some goodies. We were the only Thai customers that night. This place is wheelchair friendly

  • Very nice place to have lunch with friends or family members. The spacious, decent environment is very pleasant, and the service is friendly and thoughtful. I booked a lunch set for 2 person through Hungry Hub, which contains 3 dishes and 1 dessert. It is nice and suitable for us. Especially Blue Crab Meat with Yellow Curry and 4 traditional Thailand dessert are delicious. Only one tip, “the little spicy” is still spicy, acceptable but felt hot in mouth and stomach as well.

  • Wonderful Dining Experience Deserving of a Michelin Star We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The sharing menu offered a very generous amount of food more than enough for two people, so we even had to take some home. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and professional service stood out. The private, intimate setting made it perfect for a special occasion. All the dishes were served at the same time, which surprised us, we didn’t know where to begin! Everything looked and smelled amazing. And the taste? Absolutely delicious! Every bite was full of flavor. This restaurant truly deserves a Michelin star. Highly recommended dish: Five-Spice Egg with Kurobuta Pork.
